ALEXANDRA, January 12. The Vincent Jockey Club concluded its annual meeting at Omakau today before a good attendance. The weather was fine. The track was cutting out after overnight rain. The on-course turnover for the day was £23,413 10s, a decrease of £2BOO. The total for the meeting was £50,353. a decrease of £5796. The winning double. Mary Dee (White Memorial Handicap) and The Ranger (Valley Hack Handicap) paid £43 8s 6d for £l. G. W. Wright, the rider of The Ranger in the Valley Hack Handicap, was fined £2 for continually looking around. After the running of the Lauder Trotting Stakes, the trainer of Grandee was fined £5 for using an unauthorised tongue strap.
