THIEVES ENTER SEED STORE

Safe Blown Open, £5O Stolen

Thieves ripped off a sheet of corrugated iron to enter the seed store of A. J. Palmer and Company, Ltd., in Lincoln road, during the New Year holiday break, and stole £5O in cash when they had blown open the office safe. The thieves packed sacks oi fowl mash round the safe to deaden the sound of the explosion. They apparently left the building by the way they entered. The theft was discovered yesterday morning.
