CRICKET Canterbury And Wellington Leading In Brabin Shield

WELLINGTON, January 1. Canterbury and Wellington leaped away from their Brabin Shield rivals at Kilbirnie Park today with outright wins against Auckland and O + ago respectively The two leading teams now have the maximum points. 20 Auckland has 3 and Otago Canterbury and Wellington meet tomorrow with the two losers playing on the adjacent ground.
