Grass Fire At Lyttelton
The Lyttelton Fire Brigade was called out at 12.45 a.m. today to attend a grass and scrub fire behind Lyttelton. The fire was out of reach of the town’s water supply and spread towards the top of the hill shortly after 1 o’clock. Firemen succeeded in beating the fire out.
