Christchurch Visit
Mr R. W. K. Stevens, who was appointed director of the National Safety Association of New • Zealand recently. is visiting Christchurch in the course of a tour of the branches of the asso-1 ciation throughout the country. Mr Stevens was formerly an I air commodore and a Member j 'Personnel) of the New Zealand I Air Board. In Christchurch he is being' taken on several factory visits i and to see members by the asso- j ciation’s field officer in Canter-! bury (Mr G. V. Williams) and I the secretary of the local associa- i tion (Mr R. T. Alston). On Thursday. Mr Stevens visited; Hutchinson Motors. Ltd., to pre- i sent a plaque for the firm’s win-' ning entry in a safety window ( display earlier this year. The} display featured safety on the I farm. The three persons associ-[ ated with the display were pre-i sented with cheques.
