SPARE PARTS FOR VISCOUNT
Arrival By Air From London
(Neu' Zealand Press Association/ AUCKLAND, November 20. A case of spare parts for the damaged National Airways Corporation’s Viscount airliner arrived at Whenuapai by a Tasman Empire Airways aircraft from Sydney and London tonight. The parts are all minor components. The main replacements for the damaged aircraft—including four new engines and a new undercarriage—were in storage at Harewood at the time of the crash. Mr G. K. Grocott, Auckland manager of the corporation, said today that repairs on the Viscount were going ahead very well. Sixteen technicians were working on the aircraft, and more would be put on the job soorr.
