Mt. Herbert County Appointments
Cr. C. E. Jenkins was re-elected chairman of the Mount Herbert County Council yesterday, and Cr. J. H. Mathias was re-elected deputy-chairman. Other appointments were: Representative on the No. 14 District Roads Council, Cr. G. F. Foley; representative on Ward 11, New Zealand Counties’ Association, Cr. Mathias; representatives on the Banks Peninsula Noxious Weeds Committee, Crs. V. B. Jaggar and P. R. Blunden; principal fire officer, Mr A. M Jackson.
