MAN DIES IN COLLISION

Four Slightly Injured (New Zeaiana Press Association) HASTINGS. November 3. A man was killed and four others injured in a collision between a car and truck at 4.30 p.m. today at Waipatu, three miles from Hastings, on the main Napier-Hastings highway. The dead man was: John Stewart Mayberry, aged 65. married, a grader driver, of Hastings. - He was driving a car, the other occupant of which was his wife, who was admitted to the Hastings Hospital with superficial injuries. Three youths who were in the truck were treated as outpatients. Heavy rain was falling when the accident occurred.

Woman Killed Under Van

(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, November 3. A woman was killed instantly when she was pinned in a drain after a small van overturned at Gratia at 6.20 p.m. today. She was Mrs Molly Louisa Cooper, aged 50. of Parnell, Auckland.
