OYSTERS FINISH NEXT WEEK

Good Catch Expected For Season (New Zealand Press Association) INVERCARGILL, Sept. 26. The oyster catch for the 1958 season, which ends next Tuesday, will be far bigger than last season, when 77.544 sacks were taken. This year, the total to the end of August is more than 84,000 sacks, and there have been some very good catches this month. Contrary to what older oystermen predicted, the east bed, which was covered with debris after storms early in the season, has cleared quickly, and is yielding excellent oysters.
