WELLINGTON, Sept 25. The Hawke’s Bay Guineas is the feature event on the concluding day of the Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club’s spring meeting at Hastings on Saturday. Fountainhead, a winner on the first day, will be an outstanding favourite. The T.A.B. double is on the Lowry Memorial Handicap and the Visitors’ Handicap. Privy Council is a doubtful starter in the Visitors’ Handicap. There has not been sufficient rain since this first day to affedt the track, which will be fast. The forecast is for fine weather.
