U.S. DRAMA GROUP

Visit To New Zealand Suggested (“The Press’’ Special Service) AUCKLAND, September 24. A United States amateur theatrical group may visit Auckland early next year. The group, from the Idaho State College, is to tour the United States Army Pacific Command and has advised the Auckland Public Relations Office that it would like to appear at the Auckland Birthday Carnival. The United States Army would fly the party to Auckland in January. The director of the group. Dr. Hal J. Todd, in a letter to the public relations office, has offered to present the play ‘‘Bus Stop.” by William Inge, and Moliere's "The Miser.” , It has been suggested that if the plays were unsuitable for the i carnival, a short tour of New | Zealand might be planned as a separate public relations project. New Plymouth, Christchurch and, other centres with public relations organisations could be invited to receive the Americans.
