Overseas-Born And N.Z.-Born
Two teams chosen from soccer Slayers bom in New Zealand and orn overseas will play for the Robb Cup at English Park next Saturday. The following teams have been selected by the Canterbury selector (Mr R. Smith):
Overseas—-H. Botterman; M. Shardlow, W. Charlton; W Roger, J. Hagerty, I. Drewitt (vice-captain); A. Trotter, R. Durant (captain), E. Charlton, G. McLaren, P. Nota. Reserves: E. C. Whitehead, W. Shannon, J. Hinchley. Manager: Mr R. van der Mander.
New Zealand—H. Langley; B. Shaw. R. Laby: P. Fletcher, I. Graham, V. Smith (captain); J. Price, A. McAnulty, G. Innes,' P. Rennell (vicecaptain), B. Newsome. Reserves: W. Adam, D. Simonds, K. Rasmussen. Manager: Mr R. Smith. No Christchurch City players have been included, as the club will be host to teams from the Miramar, Rangers (Wellington) Club on Saturday. Any player unavailable to ring Mr R. Smith, 65-260.
