UNDER 16 TEAM MAY TOUR
New Caledonia Visit A tour of New Caledonia, Suva and Tahiti is proposed for an under 16 soccer team in 1960. At a recent meeting of the junior national council it was reported that officials of the Auckland Football Association had discussed the tour with a representative from *New Caledonia. It was suggested that if the arrangements were completed, a North v. South under 14 grade match be organised in 1959 to assist in the selection of the team, as the tour would probably take place in the May holidays the next year.
