Otago Beats Marlborough
(New Zealand Press Association) BLENHEIM, September 23. Otago was flattered by the score today against Marlborough, when it won 22-8 in hot sunshine. Otago led 11-0 at half-time.
The Marlborough forwards played a sterling game and maintained their effort for most of the match, but Otago’s- back-line was much superior to that of Marlborough. For Otago. Jepson scored three tries and kicked a field goal, Diack converted two tries and kicked two penalties. For Marlborough. Pacex kicked a field goal and Sutherland scored a try, which was converted by Pacey.
