South Canterbury Loses, 11-21
(New Zealand Press Association) WANGANUI, September 23. Wanganui concluded its 1958 season with a 21-11 win over South Canterbury .at Spriggens Park this afternoon. The ground and weather were ideal and a fast game resulted. For Wanganui tries were scored by Spencer (2), O’Leary and Stent. Three tries were converted by Watt, who also kicked a field goal. South Canterbury’s points came from a tfy by Lynch, which was converted by Taylor, and two penalty goals by Taylor.
