National Daffodil Show At Dunedin
(New Zealand Press Association! DUNEDIN, September 23. O. R. Marshall, of Blenheim, exhibited the champion bloom in the National Daffodil Societv’s show in Dunedin yesterday. His winning bloom was a large yellow cup variety. Gold Script.
The show was held in conjunction with the spring show of the Dunedin Horticultural Society, and attracted good entries. Champion blooms in the various national classes were exhibited by the following:—
Yellow trumpet and seedling, R. Hyde (Marton); bi-colour, G. H. Brownlee (Dunedin); white trumpet. D. G. McLenaghan (Christchurch): large red cup, R. Hyde; red and white, large cup. D. Bell (Christchurch); yellow and white, large cup, A. Gibson (Marton); pink, large cup. S. A. Free (Palmerston North); all-white, large cup, O. R. Marshall; red and yellow, small cup. D. A. Bell; red and white, small cup. D. A. Bell: all-white, small cup, P. Phillips (Otorohanga); double. P. Phillips.
