Warning By China

The Chinese Communist Foreign Minister, Mr Chen Yi, warned the United States yesterday that “no force on earth’’ could prevent the Chinese people from recovering Quemoy and Matsu islands, the Communist New China News Agency reported today, according to the United Press International.
Mr Chen said in a long statement answering Mr Dulles’s address on the Formosa crisis that the Chinese people were determined to recover Quemoy and Matsu.
