N.Z. Cricketers On Way Home

(Special Correspondent N.Z.P.A.) LONDON, September 21. The New Zealand cricketers were farewelled at London Airport.by Lord and Lady Freyberg, Mr G. O. Allen, chairman of the M.C.C. selectors. Mr H. Gilligan, New Zealand representative at the Imperial Cricket Conference, and representatives of the London-New Zealand Cricket Club, today. Before their departure for New York presentations were made, on behalf of the team, to Mr J H. Phillipps, the manager, J. R. Reid, the captain, and H. B. Cave, the vice-captain. The players were fit and well, but tired, and looking forward to returning home.
