LOVIS GOLDING DEAD
LONDON, August 9. Louis Golding, one of Britain’s most prolific novelists, died in St. George’s Hospital, London, today, aged 62. Golding, who won fame with his novel “Magnolia Street” published 25 years ago, was born in Manchester, which provided the background for much of his work. Golding, a Jew, was at the time of his death working on a history of the Jewish race.
