ATOMIC ENERGY CONFERENCE
N.Z. Scientists To Attend
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 10.
Dr. W. M. Hamilton, secretary of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, will leave New Zealand on Tuesday to attend meetings and conferences in Canada, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Austria. He will attend the second United Nations conference on the peaceful uses of atomic energy in Geneva.
The other members of the New Zealand delegation are Professor E. Walker, of Victoria University; Professor H. N. Parton, of Otago University; and Mr T. A. Rafter, director of the Division of Nuclear Sciences, of the JS.S.I.R., Wellington.
