CAGE BIRDS ON EXHIBITION
More than 450 cage birds are on show in the Returned Services’ Association hall near the Clyde road corner.
The show is organised by the Society of Cage Birds and was opened last evening after judging during the day. The show will be open today and tomorrow and a small charge is made for admission. Exhibits range from common, but colourful, New Zealand birds to brilliant tropical parakeets and exquisitely-tinted Australian zebra finches.
