SAVAGE CLUB OFFICERS
The membership list of the Christchurch Savage Club which has .been maintained at a maximum number for some years, has now been closed for this year. Performers and members on transfer from other clubs only will be admitted, it was reported to the annual meeting of the club. Two outward raids on other clubs have been arranged for the season—to the South Canterbury club on June 14 and the Oamaru club on August 9.
Officers elected were:—President and Great Chief, Mr J. L. Luney; vice-president, Mr A. H. Bissett; honorary secretary, Mr E. Rogers; honorary treasurer, Mr H. J. Gillespie; master of ceremonies, Mr C. Williams; programme organiser, Mr M. W. Brown; council, Messrs J. Moffitt (immediate past-president). W. L. Mitchell, K. Sharp, W. A. Luney, A. W. Poynty, R. H. Ogden and C. Thomas; honorary auditor, Mr W. S. Mac Gibbon; honorary solicitor, Mr R. A. Young; 9nusical director, Mr Marti) Brown: honorary accompanist, Mr G. L. Russell; librarian, Mr C. Ironside.
