MEN’S INDOOR BASKETBALL

Only University D played a good type of basketball, when lower grade matches in the men's local competition were continued last evening at the Y.M.C.A. Greater height plus good rebounding, passing, and shooting, showed University as a potential winner of the grade. Other sides tended to treat their play as relaxation early in the season. It is most essential for all players to practise dribbling, passing. faking, and shooting. Results were:— .

Holy Trinity 20, Stars C 9; University D 38, Rex C 6; Sparkies 10, St. Saviour 6; Deaf Boys A 36. Rebels C 18; Burnsco B 13, Deaf Boys B 11; Burnsco A 12, St. Christophers 4; Taxes 18, Hays 13.
