ORANGE LODGE’S JUBILEE
(New Zea'and Prp*s Association) AUCKLAND. April 6. • The Grand Orange Lodge of New Zealand had a religious heritage of which its members could be justly proud, said its Grand-Master elect,. Mr H. A. Harris, of Wellington, when he proposed the toast to the National Council of Churches at the jubilee banquet last night. In unity, he said. there was strength. Through the National Council, the churches were working together for the furtherance of God's church in New Zealand. Nearly 400 people from all parts of the country attended the banquet as> part of the jubilee celebrating the amalgamation of the North and South Island grand lodges. This morning, 500 members of Orange lodges attended Easter service in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church.
