End Of Sputnik II Draws Near

MELBOURNE. April 8. Moscow Radio last night broadcast an unusually detailed itinerary for Rusaia’s Sputnik Hua scheduled 10-day “death period” began. The half-ton utellite is still whirling around the earth with the body of ths dog Laika Inside. Soviet astronmers on March 20 predicted that Sputik H would enter the denser layers of the earth's atmosphere and evaporate between April 4 and April 15.
