Short Odds On Tulloch
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 8 p.m.) ■ SYDNEY, April 4. Tulloch should have no trouble on Saturday in joining the list of long odds-on favourites to win the AJ.C. St. Leger Stakes. Amberite (10 to 1 on) won tn 1895, Poseidon (33 to 1 on) in 1907, Mountain King (12 to 1 on) in 1908, and Phar Lap (20 to 1 on) in 1930. Bookmakers said Tulloch would be double-figure odds on, but they expected little if any betting on the event. Even Tulloch-Prince Darius on a first and second basis will be quoted at long odds on. Tulloch is right back to his best, but Prince Darius has slipped.
