Promotions And Transfers Mr L. Toms, from the Alexandra Post Office, has been promoted to postmaster at Kaianoi. according to a promotion list issued by the Post and Telegraph Department. Other promotions are: Mr J P. Healy, of the staff of the Rakaia Post Office, has been promoted to supervisor at the E v afahuna Post Office. Mr M. P. MrQuinn, of the Papanui Post Office, has been promoted to postmaster at Ferry Road Post Office. Mr C C. Hood, of the Oamaru Post Office, has beep transferred to the Amberley telephone exchange as a supervisor. Mr H M. Tyrell, of Rangiora Post Office, has also been appointed a supervisor at Amberiey. Mr H. N. Turnbull, postmaster at Runanga, has been transferred to Shirley Post Office as postmaster. Mr A. J. Wilshire, of the Post Office Savings Bank staff, has been apnointed sunervisor of the Ne’son branch of the bank. Mr A. L. Sutton, also a member of the Savings Bank staff, will be transferred to Blenheim as supervisor of th? branch there. Mr W. H. A. Wimsett. from the Christchurch staff of the Savings Bank, has been promoted to supervisor of the bank at Rotorua.
