SOVIET TRACTOR STATIONS
Complete Plans For Reorganisation (Rec. 11 p.m.) MOSCOW, April 1. The new law providing for a complete reorganisation of tractor stations into repair stations was published in Moscow yesterday, the Soviet news agency. Tass, reported. The present supply of tractors and other agricultural machines held by the stations will be sold to the kolkhoscs (co-operative farms), it said. The stations will in future deal with repairs, sell new machines and spare parts, provide kolkhoses with oil and petrol, and organise a hire service of machines which the kolkhoses do not possess. The sale of equipment will start this year.
