Honeywood, Winning Flight Die

The successful brood mare. Winning Flight, died in the North Island last week within a few days of the death of her Southland breeder, Mr D. M. Tweedie. Winning Flight was by Winning Hit from the great producer, Francolin. She was a winner and produced Dixie, Milwaukee, and Philadelphia.

Honeywood, dam of the Melbourne Cup winner Foxaml and the successful stayer Bali Hal also died in the North Island recently.

Honeywood a failure as a racehorse, was by Foxbridge from Air Lassie, a granddaughter of the imported Vanga. Foxaml was her first foal.
