SOUTHLAND OLD GIRLS
Officers Elected
The annual meeting of the Southland Girls’ High School Old Giris’ Association was held at the home of Mrs J. Garmson, Chapter street. Mrs T. Campbell presided.
The annual report showed that the association had a successful year, and had a membership of more than 80. Social nieetings were held at the homes of Mesdames R. Jenkin, D. Mcßae, K. Holland, M. Aiken, and E. Wood, the annual- dinner was held at the Sign of the Takahe. the Southland evening was held in St. Andrew's schoolroom, and a picnic was held at the home of a country member. Mrs A. May. A special feature of the year was a high tea given to all Southland delegates attending the P.W.M.U. conference in • Christchurch.
The following officers were elected: patron. Miss C. Garmson; president. Mrs T. Campbell: vice-presidents, Mesdames J. Senter, E. Wood and K. Holland: committee, Mesdames A. May, R. Timpany, E. Monson, W. Aitken. M. Gibson, >M. Lawrie, and Miss B. Kitto; secretary, Mrs D. McRae.
