Professional Club
A four-storey building in Kitchener street, Auckland, has been bought for £42.000 by the newly formed Professional Club. The club has a foundation membership of more than 250, every one of whom has subscribed £lOO as an interest-free loan. Eventually the club wlil have a swimming pool, squash courts, billiards rooms, plunge baths, bars and lounges. Membership will be available to those engaged in accountancy, law, architecture, medicine, dentistry, engineering, surveying, veterinary and other arts and sciences.
