East Christchurch Club
The following are the results of a pigeon race from Picton to Christchurch, held by the East Christchurch Racing Pigeon Club recently:
R. Moore’s bird, 6hr 32min 35sec, 1; E. Courtier’s bird, 6hr 32min 50 sec. 2; R. Wallace’s bird, 6hr 33min 38sec, 3; H. Courtier’s bird, 6hr 34min 39sec, 4: R. Weston’s bird, 6hr 35min 53sec, 5; E. Alexander’s bird, 6hr 36min Isec, 6; P. Morgan’s bird, 6hr 40min 25sec, 7; E. Barker’s bird, 6hr 42min llsec, 8; J. Turner's bird, 6hr 49min 43sec, 9.
H. Courtier won the nominated bird prize.
