Suggested Appeal Authority

(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 10.

His association did not suggest that an appeal authority would directly grant exchange authorities but that it would make representations to the Government, the president of the Associated Chambers of Commerce (Mr W. G. Hilliker) said in a statement today. It would rest with the Government whether the representations would be put into effect. Importers could not have more exchange than was available, but the relative shares between private and public importers should be maintained.
