AUXILIARY OF Y.M.C.A.
Officers Elected
The annual meeting of the Young Men’s Christian Association Ladies’ Auxiliary was held recently. Mrs W. Paine presided. Mr Aubrey Watson, president of the board of directors, addressed the meeting and spoke of the progressive work in the association He thai ked the auxiliary for its continued interest and support in helping with renovations and improvements in the hostel.
The following officers were elected: president, Mrs W. Paine, vice-presidents, Mesdames Clay and Burrell; secretary, Mrs Greenway; treasurer, Mrs Watson; delegate to National Council of Women, Miss M. Webster; publicity secretary, Miss C. Rogers; house committee, Mesdames Paine and McConnell.
A request from the house committee for floor covering and paint for renovations in the dormitory was acceded to.
A gift of £2O from auxiliary funds was made to the memorial chapel fund.
