Company News HUMES ONE FOR FOUR BONUS
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 5.
Humes, Ltd., Australia, proposes to make a bonus issue to ordinary shareholders in the ratio of one-for-four. The issue will be made to shareholders registered on March 17.
Interim dividends of 32 per cent, on “A” and “B” preference shares have been declared. The ordinary interim is 5 per cent., plus 2 per cent from overseas income. Dividends are payable on March 31, ex March 18.
Wilson’s Cement Board.—Mr D. H. Steen, public accountant, of Auckland. has been appointed to the board of directors of Wilsons (N.Z.) Portland Cement, Ltd., and its subsidiary, Wilsons Collieries, Ltd. Mr Steen fills the vacancy caused by the death of Mi George Winstone.
