NOMINATIONS FOR SCHOOL BOARDS
Representatives Of Parents Nominations for candidates for the boards of governors of a number of Christchurch postprimary schools closed yesterday. The following representatives of parents have been nominated and will take office without an election:— Christchurch Girls’ High School.—Mrs A. A. Glenday, Mr A. N. Mackay, the Rev. A. K. Fetch. ' Avonside Girls’ High School.— Mrs M. Morrison, Mr E. Hitchcock, the Rev. J. C. A. Williams. Cashmere High School.—Mrs K. E. Blunt, Dr. R. S. Allan, the Rev. A. A. Brash.
Christchurch West High School. —Mrs G. McG. Carter, Messrs W. W. Brough and F. H. Wright. Papanui High School.—Mrs I. M. Stirling, Messrs R. C. Chilvers, and F. L. Drury. The following schools will hold a postal ballot. On each board there are three vacancies. Nominations are:— Christchurch Boys’ High School. —Mrs E. Broomfield, Messrs R. G. Compton, C. H. McPhail, E. G. S. Powell, A. F. Scoggins. Linwood High School.—Mesdames G. Cree and A. J. McDonald, Messrs L. J. MacG. ,Manson and J. E. L. Pocock. >
