Hobart Wool Sale
HOBART, February 27.
The Hobart wool sale closed today with x 20,000 of the 21,600 bales offered sold. Competition was keen from the Continent, Japan and local mills for good class wools, with Britain buying stronger on lower levels.
Compared with Launceston closing rates, prices were generally 5 per cent, to 7$ per, cent, down.
