THE HIT OF THE DAY.—The Auckland player, K. Hough, hitting the only 6 of the day, off A. M. Moir, during the final cricket trial at Lancaster Park yesterday. Hough was batting for The Rest against a New Zealand eleven. The other batsman is D. B. Clarke, the umpire Mr J. Cowie, and the fieldsmen, J. Reid (back to camera), R. M. Harris (left), and I. A. Colquhoun (wicket-keeper).
