YOUNG FARMER TO VISIT AUSTRALIA
Sponsored Exchange Scheme A young New Zealand farmer, Mr Robin Mitchell, of the Feilding Young Farmers’ Club, is being sponsored by Imperial Chemical Industries, Ltd., to visit Australia. A young Australian farmer will visit New Zealand later this year. Mr Mitchell is 21 years old and works on his father’s 50-acre dairy farm. Next month, Mr Mitchell will leave for Western Australia, where he will stay with farmers, and study farming methods, and visit agricultural institutes and organisations in and around Perth.
