NO LAND SALES CONTROL
Assurance Given By Mr Skinner (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, January 23. Land sales control will not be reintroduced by the Government. This assurance was given by the Minister of Lands (Mr C. F. Skinner) in the House of Representatives today. Notice of his intention to ask the Minister whether land sales control would be introduced was given by Mr S. W. Smith (Opposition, Hobson), but Mr Skinner sought and obtained the permission of the House to answer the question immediately.
“The answer to the question is ‘No,’ quite definitely ‘No,’” he said.
