OIL DRILLING AT WOOMERA
(NX. Prat Aaociation—Copyright) MELBOURNE, January 23. An oil drilling company plans to sink a 2000-foot exploratory drill within a tew miles of Woomera rocket range, starting early next month. The company is Sydney-based Clarence River Oil - Exploration, N.L. The site is inside the area proclaimed by the Commonwealth as a prohibited area for the rocket range.
