EXPORT MEAT SCHEDULES

Prices for ewes in the latest export meat schedule range from 7£d per lb to 3£d per lb, not 6|d to 2£d, as stated yesterday. This schedule came into force yesterday. Following were the returns from dredges operated by Gold Mines of New Zealand, Ltd., for the halfmonth ended January 15:— Arahura.—l2o ounces of bullion from 129.000 yards of material, excavated in 221 hours. Kaniere.—4Bl ounces of bullion from 120.000 yards of material, excavated in 214 hours.
