Mr Nash Promises Government Aid
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, Dec. 29. The Government would do all in its power to assist the victims of the South Island floods, said the Prime Minister <Mr Nash) in Auckland today. ."I am deeply concerned with the plight of those affected by the floods," he said, “and I wish to express my sympathy to those families.” Mr Nash added that he 'was receiving daily bulletins on the situation.
