CAR PASSENGERS INJURED
Two persons were injured when the car in which they were passengers slid on a newly-sealed piece of road on the Evans Pass road, above the School for the Deaf, and crashed into a bank last evening. Paul Brady, aged 20. of 10 Wiggins street. Sumner, was taken to the Christchurch Public Hospital by St. John Ambulance, with a fractured leg His condition was reported to be satisfactory. The other injured person is Pamela Janet Cliff, aged 19, of 25 Colenso street, Sumner, who suffered a sprained ankle. The car was driven by Barry William Kerr, aged 18, of 13 Wiggins street, Sumner.
