Sir,—Some while ago the Midland bus had a trial run through Daniels, Grimseys, and Winters roads out again on to the Main North road. As it met with favour by all concerned we understood we should have a service within a few weeks. Many months have passed and we are still without that desirable service in spite of the road being widened for the purpose. Tt seems the Waimairi people have to be kept in backblock conditions.—Yours, etc.. STAY HOME. December I. 1957.
