Grant For Girls’ High School
The Education Department has approved a grant of £l9lO to cover the cost of alterations to domestic science buildings at Christchurch Girls’ High School. This was reported at a meeting of the school’s board of governors.
At the monthly meeting of the Papanui - Merivale Plunket Mothers’ Club, Mrs R. L. Jacobsen showed some slides of Cholmondeley Home. Winners of competitions for the evening were Mesdames S. White. Bromley, Boocock, Yardley, and Goom.
