Man Falls From Veranda

Falling from a second storey veranda at his home, a height of about 12 to 15 feet, a man suffered injuries which necessitated his admission to Christchurch Hospital last evening. He is Mr N. Mayer, of 284 Cashel street. The accident occurred about 10.30 p.m. Mr Mayer was taken to hospital by a St. John ambulance. Late last evening his condition was described as satisfactory.
