All Killed

All 17 passengers and the crew of four were killed when a Spanish Iberia airliner crashed about 12 miles from Madrid tonight.
A spokesman of Iberia Airlines said that the aircraft, a DC3, tried to make a forced landing, but an engine caught fire and the machine plunged to earth between Arganda and Getafe.
The aircraft was on its way from Tangier to Madrid. The passengers were 11 Spaniards, an American couple, two Frenchmen, a Frenchwoman, and a Moroccan.
