Main Race To Philadelphia I (New Zealand Press Association) TAURANGA. Oct. 20 The inaugural meeting of the Wh«Racing Club was held on the Bay of Plenty Racing Club s course at Tauranga on Saturday, in fine weather. The course was easy after rain. The attendance was good. The double, Philadelphia and Barbecue. paid £199 5s for £l.

The totallsator handled £105.158 including doubles investments ‘ of £BO3O 10s on-course, and £25.121 off* course. Results:—
