“MIND THAT CHILD”
Film For National Release “Mind That Child’’ campaign will be given emphasis by a film, produced in Wellington, which will be shown in main New Zealand theatres this month. The film had i preview in Christchurch on Friday, when it was seen by traffic officers and members of the Christchurch Metropolitan Road Safety Committee. Young New Zealanders, tit and healthy, are shown in the film, which also shows schemes to protect their health. Then comes the danger. It is on the roads from motorists—not through wilful neglect but by careless driving. Work done by traffic officers to educate children in road safety »s i shown in the film; but the message of the campaign is brought home by a realistically-staged accident to a boy cyclist, and the consequences.
